EVALAUDIOMA12070PTOBO1 is an audio evaluation kit that contains all hardware and software elements that are needed to evaluate the highly power-efficient MERUS™ digital input multilevel class D amplifier IC 2x80 W (MA12070P). The IC is specifically targeted for high-performance filter-less and heatsink-free audio applications. Typical applications include portable audio – battery operated speakers, smart speaker, on-the-go Bluetooth speakers, docking speakers, boom boxes, wearable speakers, Home audio (multi-room systems, home hubs, televisions, soundbars, home theater systems, TVs), Voice controlled audio, Pro audio (PoE audio systems and other demanding audio applications where it is essential to maximize dynamic range and audio performance while minimizing power dissipation and power loss).

• Digital (I2S) audio input format
• Configurable, single-volt-supply amplifier BRD and PC programming interface BRD (w/ USB connection)
• Coils to be used in series with standard resistive loads for more accurate efficiency measurements
• Provides an easy-to-use test and validation setup for the MA12070P multilevel amplifier IC
• Allows users to experience the unique sound quality of a multilevel class D amplifier
• Facilitates accurate power efficiency and audio performance measurements
• 8A output current max, 80W Pout max, 5V to 18V supply voltage
• Configurable number of audio channels: 2xBTL or 4xSE or 1xBTL+2xSE
• Output noise level is <lt/>150µVrms (AW), dynamic range is <gt/>95dB
• 18V to 26V max recommended supply voltage (PVDD) and <lt/>19mA ideal power consumption at 18V PVDD
