The EVA general code safety sensor is (in common with Adam) part of the Eden DYN (also with StatusBus), OSSD and AS-i non-contact safety sensors with coding. Eden is used on locked protective devices such as doors, gates and hoods and for safe position detection. They are ideally suited for harsh environments, have IP69K and work within a temperature range of -40 to +70°C. There are versions with built-in, monitored reset with reset display. Eden DYN is suitable for single-channel DYNlink safety circuits with Vital or Pluto. Eden OSSD for two-channel safety circuits with safety relays or safety PLC. Eden AS-i are operated directly on the AS-i bus. Eden corresponds to type 4, optionally with high or low coding level according to EN ISO14119 and achieves up to PLe (EN ISO13849-1) or SIL3 (EN 61508, EN 62061), even with series connection and cascading of up to 30 sensors. Variable mounting and 360° scanning are possible.

• Eden installation is problem-free: All devices are connected to the same yellow AS-i bus cable. Each security node has its own address & a unique security code
• Eden AS-i for position detection: If the maximum switching distance of 15mm is exceeded, the contact between Adam and Eva is interrupted
• Eden AS-i can communicate through wood, plastic and other non-metallic materials, metal interrupts the signal between Adam and Eve
